Refund and cancellation policy

We build industrial machinery to order. This page sets out plainly when an order can be cancelled and what happens to money already paid, so there is no misunderstanding later.

The short version. An order can be cancelled only before any payment reaches us. Once you have paid, the order is firm and the full order value remains payable. Please be certain of your specification before releasing payment.

1. Why this policy is strict

We are not a retailer. Each machine is built, configured or allocated against a specific order, and production begins as soon as an order is confirmed. Materials are purchased and capacity is committed. A cancellation after that point cannot be absorbed by putting the item back on a shelf.

We would rather state this clearly now than dispute it later.

2. Cancelling an order

An order may be cancelled only before any payment has been received by us. Up to that point, nothing is owed by either side and no cancellation charge applies.

Once any payment has been received, the order is firm. The full order value remains payable, including the balance not yet invoiced, whether or not you take delivery of the machine.

3. The advance payment

The advance — normally 70% of the order value — is not refundable. It is applied to materials, production slot and procurement as soon as the order is confirmed.

4. Made-to-order and customised machines

Machines built or configured to your specification are non-cancellable and non-returnable. This includes any machine altered from standard in capacity, heating type, control system, voltage, finish or dimensions to suit your site.

5. Returns

We do not accept returns of delivered machines. Supply is Ex-Works and risk passes when the goods leave our works.

This does not affect your rights where a machine is faulty. Those are dealt with under the warranty in our Terms and Conditions, which covers parts for 12 months from commissioning or 15 months from delivery, whichever is earlier.

6. Damage or shortage on arrival

Please examine the consignment when it arrives. Transit damage, shortage or incorrect supply must be reported in writing within 2 to 3 days of delivery, with photographs.

Because supply is Ex-Works, transit risk and insurance are yours. We will support a claim against your carrier or insurer with documentation and evidence of condition at dispatch.

7. Where a refund is due

A refund may arise where we cancel an order ourselves, where we cannot supply, or where we agree one in writing in a particular case.

  • Refunds are processed within 15 days of approval
  • Payment is made only to the original bank account used for the order
  • Bank charges and currency conversion costs are deducted from the amount refunded
  • Any GST already remitted is refunded in accordance with prevailing tax rules

8. How to raise a cancellation or refund request

Write to sales@krevantasystems.com with your purchase order number, invoice number and the reason. Requests must come from the person authorised to place orders on your account.

We acknowledge within 2 working days and give a decision in writing. Telephone conversations do not constitute a cancellation.

9. Business sales only

We supply businesses and institutions, not consumers. Consumer cancellation and cooling-off rights — including the 14-day distance-selling right available to consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom — do not apply to these sales.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. The courts of Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction, with Ghaziabad as the venue for proceedings.
