From feasibility study to the tenth year of service
Buying the machines is the middle of the project, not the start. Here is how a Krevanta installation actually runs, and what we stay responsible for afterwards.
Six stages, in order
Each stage produces something you can hold — a calculation, a drawing, a signed protocol. Nothing moves to the next stage until the last one is agreed.

Load study
We establish your real daily kilos from beds, rooms, tonnage or garment counts, including the peak day rather than the average. This number drives everything downstream.

Feasibility and budget
A machine mix, an indicative layout and a budget figure. If the numbers do not support the project yet, this is the stage where we say so.

Plant design
Detailed layout with linen flow, plus steam, water, drainage, ventilation and electrical schemes your contractor can build from.

Supply and delivery
Equipment procured, inspected and delivered to site with the documentation your project needs for handover or audit.

Installation and commissioning
Mechanical installation, utility connections, cycle programming and performance testing against the design load — followed by operator training.

Maintenance
Scheduled preventive servicing under an AMC, wear parts held in stock, and a defined response time for breakdowns.

Not every project needs the whole chain. Several clients use us only for the study, or only for the AMC.
Consultancy & feasibility
Capacity calculations, utility estimates, equipment recommendations and budgetary proposals — issued as a report you can take to your board or your architect.
Plant layout & utilities
Floor layouts with linen flow, steam and condensate sizing, water and drainage, ventilation and electrical load schedules.
Turnkey projects
Single-point responsibility from design through to a running plant, including civil coordination and the barrier partition wall where one is needed.
Installation & commissioning
Mechanical and utility installation, cycle programming, performance testing and handover documentation.
Operator training
Your team trained on cycle selection, daily checks, loading discipline and what to do when a machine faults — on your machines, on your floor.
AMC & spares
Scheduled preventive maintenance visits, wear-part replacement, breakdown response and a stocked spares list for your specific models.
What an AMC actually covers
Scheduled preventive maintenance visits at an agreed frequency, inspection of bearings, seals, belts, steam traps and control systems, calibration of temperature and level sensors, and a written service report after each visit. Wear parts and breakdown response are covered under comprehensive contracts; labour-only contracts exclude parts.
Response times are written into the contract and depend on your location and criticality. Hospital laundries and other critical installations get the shortest window. We will not promise a time we cannot hold — if your site is remote, we will tell you what is realistic and discuss holding critical spares on your premises.
Often, yes. It depends on the make, the availability of spares and the condition of the machine. Send us the make, model and age and we will tell you honestly whether we can support it.
Yes. For larger plants with their own technical staff we run a training programme covering routine servicing and first-line fault diagnosis, and supply the documentation and spares list they need to work from.
